What is ACCIÓ?
ACCIÓ is the public agency for business competitiveness of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Its objective is to boost the competitiveness and growth of the business fabric through the promotion of innovation, business internationalization and the attraction of investment.

The new call for ACCIÓ Coupons for 2025 will open in May.
What are ACCIÓ coupons?
An ACCIÓ coupon for the competitiveness of the company is a direct economic discount that can be redeemed for a consulting service provided by an expert supplier in internationalization, innovation or new technologies. This supplier must be accredited by Acció(more info here).
There are coupons for different areas: Strategy, Green, Export Initiation, Export Strategy, European R&D&I Programs, Industrial and Intellectual Property, Advanced Digital Technologies, Industrial Strategy.
Eric Onidi is accredited as an Acció consultant in the areas of competence“Export Strategy” and“Industrial Strategy” (more info).
The accreditation applies to sectors and technologies related to logistics, e-commerce and distribution, as well as tourism, culture, leisure, sports, catering, industry and services.
With this, EMD can carry out projects and apply for grants for your company:
– In the “ACCIÓ Coupons Export Strategy” aid program for the international promotion of companies in digital channels.
– In the“ACCIÓ coupons for strategy” aid program for industrial companies to redefine the organization’s business and innovation model(see call for proposals 2024).
How does it work and how can you request a coupon?

Requirements and project
First you must find out if your company is eligible to apply for a coupon. The conditions vary depending on the area, but in any case your company must carry out operations from Catalonia, have a turnover of over €250,000 in the previous year.
For Export Strategy coupons, your company must have a website in another language, a volume of internationalization of no more than 25% and acommitment to allocate a resource to continue the export task after the study.
The coupon Export Strategycoupon, aimed at international promotion of companies, aims to offer a comprehensive internationalization service, including:
- Omnichannel international promotion plan.
- Advice on digital channels.
For Strategy coupons, services are oriented in:
- Conceptualize new products or services.
- Innovate in the company’s internal processes (commercial and organizational) that entail structural changes.
- Redesign the business model to provide more value to customers.

Request a coupon
In this phase you must create the file to request the coupon:
- Apply online, using standardized forms.
- Provide information about the project or the international promotion plan (for Export Strategy), the technical report… Your project must be solid and you must have foreseen resources (human and economic) to implement it.
You can obtain grants of up to 6,000€ for the Export Strategy lines (endowed with 1,000,000€) and 8,000€ for Strategy.
But don’t worry, we’re here to help you create all the documentation… You will only need to spend a couple or three hours, it’s worth it! By the way, in three years and more than 15 applications, we have always managed to get the “cupó”…
Once the application is submitted, the file will be reviewed by the program experts within a few weeks. It all depends on when you submit the documentation, because the files are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. The Export Strategy and Strategy vouchers are awarded on a “non-competitive” basis.
That is why it is key to go (very) fast in the identification of the project and the completion of the dossier, because when the budget allocation for each line runs out, per approved dossier, no grant will be awarded (no matter how solid your project is).

Project realization
EMD will get started as soon as you are ready to finalize the work plan. You have until September 30, 2026 to do so.
Important: most of the work will be done by EMD, so you will not have to spend many hours to complete the project.
In general, an Export Strategy or Strategy project takes two to three months to complete.
The Export Strategy project consists of 4 phases:
- Internal analysisProducts and services, current strategy, current channels, value proposition.
- External analysis: Industry trends, competitors, study and choice of online and offline target markets, SWOT.
- International strategy and action plan: Objectives and KPIs, marketing model, buyer persona, channels and resources, action plan with priorities and budget.
- Follow-up: Accompaniment in the implementation of the plan.
So don’t hesitate: ACCIÓ coupons for business competitiveness are a very powerful tool to grow your business.

Supporting Memorandum
All projects – and in particular those benefiting from public aid – must be finalized with a report justifying the actions carried out and a set of documentation.
