First of all, you have to find out if your company is eligible to apply for a voucher. The conditions vary depending on the scope, but in any case your company must operate from Catalonia, be 2 years old or have a turnover of more than 100,000€ in the previous fiscal year. For eTrade coupons, your company must have a website in another language and an internationalization plan.

For eTrade coupons for the internationalization of the company to digital channels, the services can be the following:

• Analysis of the company’s current presence in digital channels.
• Definition of the international digital strategy: objectives, market and target selection, identification of the value proposition, identification of digital channels and phases of the sales cycle.
• Action plan for digital channels and cost analysis.

For the Strategy coupons, the services are oriented to:

• Conceptualize new products or services.
• Innovate in the internal processes of the company (commercial and organizational) that involve structural changes.
• Redesign the business model to provide more value to customers.

In this phase you have to create thefileto apply for the coupon:

• Make the application online, using the standardized forms.
• Provide information about the project or the international promotion plan (for e-Trade), the technical report… Your project must be solid and you must have foreseen resources (human and economic) to implement it.

You can obtain grants of up to €6,000 foreTrade lines (endowed with €1,000,000) and €8,000 for Strategy.

Once the application is submitted, the file will be reviewed by the program experts within a period of a few weeks. It all depends on when you submit the documentation, because the files are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. The eTrade and strategy vouchers are awarded on a “non-competitive” basis.

It is key to go (very) fast in the identification of the project and the completion of the dossier, because when the budget allocation for each line runs out, for each approved dossier, no subsidy is granted (no matter how solid your project is).

From EMD we will start working as soon as you are ready to finalize the work plan. You will have until September 30, 2025 to do it.

Important: most of the work will be done by EMD, keep in mind that you will not have to dedicate many hours to carry out the project.

In general, an eTrade project or a Strategy project is done in two or three months.
